B&B Friday (My Martha's Vineyard Trip)!

'Evening, everyone!
How many of you are getting snowed upon presently?
It's been on and off in my parts; not nearly as much accumulation
as we previously anticipated. But I've nevertheless have been enjoying gazing
through my lace curtains at the occasional large puffs sprinkling from the sky ♥

Was anyone pleasantly surprised at seeing the title "B&B Friday"
on your dashboard? I know I've neglected this feature for an awfully
long time, but I've never forgotten it, and have thus resurrected it to share
with you the inn I'm planning on staying in on my trip to the Vineyard . . .

 The Victorian Inn
(Edgartown, MA)

"The Victorian Inn is an attractive Inn with the casual elegance of a restored Whaling Captain's Home on the Island of Martha's Vineyard in historical Edgartown. We have maintained the tradition and charm of that era and await you as our guests for a relaxing, hospitable and comfortable vacation. Situated on the lovely South Water Street where many sea captains built their mansions; directly across from the famous Pagoda Tree, one block above the town dock and harbor; just a short stroll to many fine restaurants, quaint shops, museums and art galleries."

#1 rated Edgartown inn on Trip Adviser

Rates: $225-425

Room I'll be staying in!

Amenities of the inn include:
  • A decanter of sherry and fresh cut flowers in each room
  • A complimentary gourmet breakfast and afternoon tea
  • A covered bicycle shed for guests' convenience
  • Beach towels, chairs, coolers, and ice packs available on request

So wonderful that you're visiting beautiful MV soon...we were supposed to be there for Christmas but got cancelled this end due to the UK's inability to deal with snow :o( Still, you will LOVE Edgartown, it's one of the nicest places I've been...great shops, resaturants, ferry to Chappaquiddick handy for daytrips...perfect! Enjoy planning! Love to you x Rachel (Mozart's Girl)

  16. Greetings, Erin. I found your blog through another blog! I am in Connecticut and I LOVE Martha's Vineyard. I was there a couple of years ago. Oh, you are so lucky to stay at that beautiful place! You probably know more about MV and the New England area that I do! I read your profile and see that you are on Long Island... I am originally from Brooklyn, NY!! Born and bred! I also have cousins who live on L.I. I am looking forward to reading more of your posts! I will be back soon. I just became your newest Follower! :)
    Best regards,
    Gloria

  17. This sounds incredibly wonderful!! We had a trip to New England in the Fall and spent two nights on Martha's Vineyard. It was hardly enough as there is so much to see and do; make sure you visit the shops in each of the little 'towns' there...there are all rather unique and different! And do a LOT of walking; it's the only true way to take in all of the streets and old homes that are so beautiful!!
