Maine Lobster Festival!


Starting from August 4th through the 8th, 
Rockland, ME will be hosting their 63rd annual



Activities will  include nautical-themed children games, amateur
cooking contests, musical entertainment, the crowning of the
2010 "Sea Goddess," various vendors, road races, and of
course... the consumption of delicious, mouth-watering food!


The very first Maine Lobster Festival was
celebrated in Camden, Maine in 1947; that
tradition has been kept alive ever since!

So if you're in the Rockland area next week,
be should to come and bring your appetite...

This is one New England event not to be missed!

    We have a big lobster festival here in the Maritimes, too... in Shediac,NB, 'Lobster Capital of the World.'

  9. oh my gosh! we went to the ME lobsta fest three years ago and i've been wanting to go back ever since! It's everything you've noted and more!! now you're making me want lobster:).
