Good evening, everyone ♥
In forty minutes, I technically can
say "Good morning," considering
that it's after eleven already... but
hey, it's better late than never!
Here is your weekly serving of B&B's!:
1.
(Providence, RI)
"The Old Court is ideally situated for anyone visiting Providence. A three-minute walk puts you in the center of downtown Providence or in the middle of the campuses of Brown University and Rhode Island School of Design.
Filled with antique furniture, chandeliers and memorabilia from the nineteenth century, the Old Court Bed and Breakfast is a refreshing reminder of the sophisticated styles of a century past."

2.
(Norwalk, CT)
"From its creaky wooden floors and venerable ancestor paintings to its traditional New England cuisine and antique canopy beds, the Silvermine Tavern is everything a country inn should be, warm, friendly, inviting - and brimming with charm. You can't build a country inn with character like ours. You have to give it time. And time - 200 history-making years of it - is what has made the Silvermine Tavern a place so special you won't want to leave.
If ever there were a perfect setting, it's here on the banks of the Silvermine River. Nestled by the waterfall of a tranquil mill pond, the Tavern serves its guests on of the most soothing and serene views in Connecticut."

(Bar Harbor, ME)
"We are located in the beautiful tree lined West Street Historic District, one of Bar Harbor's most convenient in town locations. The inn is just a short walk to all of the village shopping, restaurants and ocean front activities. In addition Acadia National Park is just 1 mile from the Inn.
Manor House Inn consists of the original three story Victorian Mansion, built in 1887 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Victorian Chauffeur's Cottage, two delightfully private Garden Cottages and Acadia Cottage. Our spacious 1 1/2 acres landscaped grounds provide guests with ample parking and room to relax and enjoy the gardens as they plan their next adventure."

The Manor House Inn seems a little spooky to me. Look at the photo of the bedroom, and keep feeling something is standing off to the side. Given that it is in Maine, maybe Stephen King would like to stay there. I do like the Silvermine's dining room , very charming.
ReplyDeleteI remember admiring the Manor Inn when we were in Bar Harbor a couple of years ago (we stayed at Aysgarth Station, which while maybe not quite in the same league as the Manor, was still really nice.)
ReplyDeleteI always love all of your B&B's..they are all fantastic and would love to stay at any one of them! Thanks and have a blessed weekend!!

Well, I actually liked the Manor House Inn the best out of all of them. After I read the one comment I went back and looked at the photo of the bedroom and got a little spooked by it too. LOL... but I still think I would love to stay there.
ReplyDeleteI love the look of the Silvermine Tavern, thanks for all these wonderful pictures.
