Gone to the Cape!

'Evening, everyone!
I meant to make a post tonight about some of
the museums I'll be going to on Nantucket, but
I've just been so busy today (shopping, doing laundry,
packing like there's no tomorrow...) that you'll just
have to hear about them when I return!

Well, this is it! I'll be off to the Cape tomorrow
morning; will be taking the Orient Point ferry
to New London, and likely to arrive in
Sandwich by the early afternoon.

I have to be quite honest with you, though--
It still hasn't quite hit me yet that I'm actually going.
It's just that I've dreamed of seeing this place for so long,
have grown such a passionate love for it, that it's truly so
hard for me to fathom that I'll finally be seeing it in person.
... I'm so excited!
Anywho, I must be off now-- need to finish getting all my
belongings together, and spend some time with my kitties
before I have to leave them; the only downside of my trip :'(

But, I'll be back next Thursday, bearing many
memories and countless photographs that
I'll share with every one of you...

Bye for now!

  8. Have loads of fun on your vacation. Did you do the painting at the end of this post? Take lots of pictures, or do a sketch or two on sheets of good paper. Sign and date everything, so that you can reminisce.
